Kaitlyn Kittle (b. 2008) is an American painter currently pursuing her BFA at Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work explores memory, the passage of time, and anemoia, a longing for a time or place she has never personally experienced. Drawing inspiration from the overlooked details of everyday life in an increasingly digital world, Kittle creates emotional landscapes that invite reflection on belonging, nostalgia, and human connection. She primarily works in oil and acrylic, moving between abstract and representational approaches, including realism and self-portraiture. In 2026, Kittle was selected for the ArtPop 2026 Cohort, an international program that presents artists’ work on a billboard scale. Her work and artistic career have also received coverage through news appearances in 2026.
Since 2024, Kittle’s work has been presented in exhibitions nationally and internationally. Her work has been featured in Italy and on billboards in Times Square, New York, including a presentation of her self-portrait. Her artistic practice also extends to photography, for which she has received recognition and awards. Through both painting and photography, Kittle continues to explore the relationship between memory and the present, creating work that encourages viewers to slow down, look closely, and find meaning in what is often overlooked.
